How do I import a recipe?
From the app, tap "+" then choose your source: a TikTok or Instagram video, a YouTube video, or a photo (handwritten recipe, cookbook page, screenshot). Toquade automatically extracts the ingredients and steps.
Note: importing from a web link or recipe website isn't available yet. This feature is coming in a future update.
My import failed or the result is incorrect, what do I do?
This can happen if the video is low quality, too short, or if the handwritten recipe is hard to read. You can manually edit any field (ingredients, steps, quantities) once the recipe is imported. If the problem persists, write to us at hello@toquade.app specifying the source (link or type of photo).
How does cooking mode work?
Cooking mode guides you through your steps one by one, and only shows the ingredients you need at the moment you need them. Your screen stays on for the whole session so you're never interrupted.
How do I organize my recipes?
Use Collections to group your recipes like playlists (e.g. "Quick Dinners", "Holiday Specials"). A recipe can belong to several collections at once.
How do I delete my account or data?
Go to Profile > Delete my account, directly in the app. All your data (recipes, collections, account) will be permanently deleted. You can also write to us at hello@toquade.app if you run into any issue.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases on Toquade are managed by Apple. To request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com or check Apple's official process: support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084.
Which devices does Toquade work on?
Toquade is available on iPhone, running iOS 16 and later.
Is my data private?
Yes. Toquade is a personal library: your recipes are never shared, never visible to other users, and never used for advertising purposes. More details in our privacy policy.
